Dr. Paul will lead yoga sessions and speak at the upcoming Leading Edge Forum held annually by Computer Science Corporation (CSC). The health and technology conference in Orlando, Florida is titled "The Future of Healthcare: It’s Health, Then Care" Dr. Paul, a certified yoga instructor, will lead morning yoga sessions and then do a brief Q&A before each General Session.

Dr. Paul is a highly sought after TV, radio, newspaper/magazine and web personality including “The Today Show on MSNBC”, “WebMD”, “The Wall Street Journal”, “Prevention Magazine”, “Health Magazine”, “Shape”, “Women’s World”, and interviewed on Public Television and ABC-TV as an expert on Childhood Obesity and Nutrition for Olympic Athletes. He serves/has served as a reviewer for twelve medical science journals in the areas of sports nutrition, athletic performance, energy metabolism, obesity, and disease prevention. He was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine in 1999.

Dr. Paul Presents at "Go Red For Women Event"!

TROY, NY (May 18th, 2011) — Dr. Paul presented his health and wellness program, "Dr. Paul's Protocol - The Optimal Health and Performance Lifestyle,” at an event attended by more than 400 women from the local upstate New York area. The eighth annual Go Red for Women Luncheon on Wednesday at the Hilton Garden Inn. Go Red For Women is part of the American Heart Association’s solution to help save women’s lives. “It’s very empowering for women to gather together to help each other,” said Mona Golub, vice president of public relations and consumer and marketing services at Price Chopper Supermarkets, and co-chair of the luncheon. “It’s enlightening to hear stories that bring the prevalence of heart disease to light and information about the progress being made to obliterate it.” Jane Golub, director of in-store marketing programs for Price Chopper Supermarkets, served as co-chair of the luncheon.

A silent auction was held featuring “purse-onalities” donated by local women and filled with items unique to each donor. Health screenings and manicure touch-ups were available as well as time for networking. Other breakout sessions included “Heart-Health in the Aisle – Beyond Food Labels,” presented by Ellie Wilson, senior nutritionist at Price Chopper Supermarkets. Heba Salama, the at-home winner of NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” during season six in 2008, was the keynote speaker. Benita Zahn, news anchor of WNYT News Channel 13, was master of ceremonies.

January 4, 2011 - Dr. Paul's Research Is Referenced Again!

A research study conducted by Dr. Paul has once again been referenced in a leading publication, Reader's Digest "Best you" series. The strength-trainers got double the results, even though they had shorter workouts and burned about 450 less calories each week. Over 12 weeks, the strength subjects trimmed an extra six pounds of body fat (including an extra pound of abdominal fat), compared to cardio-only exercisers.
